Founder and General Manager

Jon, with his +35 years of experience, ensures operational excellence across all production projects. His dedication to collaborative, high-quality project QC and his drive to deliver optimal results have been central to technical reliability in the global market.

Area of Expertise: PSTM velocity analysis, project management and general data QC.

Rob Vestrum, PhD, PGeo.

Founder and Imaging Advisor

Rob is an internationally recognized authority on seismic anisotropy and complex-structure imaging. As a founder, he provides senior technical guidance on high-level PSDM projects, leveraging 30 years of award-winning research to reduce structural uncertainty for exploration targets worldwide.

Area of Expertise: Anisotropic depth migration and structural model building.

Dale Schack

Founder, CFO and IT Manager

Dale balances technical innovation with financial stewardship. He continues to develop software and manages TBI’s HPC infrastructure, ensuring the processing team has the power and tools to tackle the most data-intensive projects.

President

Greg leads TBI’s global operations with a focus on integrating emerging technology and collaborative workflows to solve the industry’s most complex subsurface challenges. Former processing manager, he now drives the company’s strategic vision, focusing on developing the right technology to turn challenging onshore data into actionable geological insights.

Kendall Rogers, MSc.

Complex Structure Specialist

Kendall is the go-to expert for your geologically “tough’ data. With his 25+ years of experience, he provides high-level technical oversight for both 2D and 3D time and depth in the most geologically complex environments.

Area of Expertise: Complex 2D/3D depth imaging and client management.

Andrew Graham, BSc.

Advance Processing Specialist

Andrew brings a thoughtful approach to complex imaging and is a specialist in managing large 3D projects from field records to PSDM, including stratigraphic imaging, DWS, and other advanced 3D processing techniques. Part of the team developing the Land-focused FWI.

Area of Expertise: 2D/3D time and depth imaging, advanced processing.

Tim MacArthur, MSc., PGeo

Senior Imaging Geophysicist

Tim specializes in turning advanced geophysical research into practical industry solutions, leading the development of land-focused Full Waveform Inversion and Reverse Time Migration algorithms that help advance seismic interpretation in challenging settings.

2D Production Lead

Erin is TBI’s lead in 2D production, known for her exceptional efficiency and project delivery. She manages the full cycle of 2D time and depth, ensuring timelines and technical standards are met in the projects.

Processing Quality Lead

Thomas is the lead parameter tester for 2D processing, dedicated to evaluating novel workflows that extract the maximum value from challenging data to solve unique technical problems.

Leonardo Escobar, BSc.

Front-End Processing Manager

Leonardo leverages his extensive field experience to lead TBI’s front-end processing team. He builds workflows and Python scripts that efficiently transform your raw field records into processing-ready data. He is an expert in using diving-wave tomography to optimize refraction static corrections.

Joel manages the critical early stages of 2D and 3D projects. Known for his accuracy and efficiency, he ensures that geometry and refraction statics provide a rock-solid foundation for the advanced imaging workflows.
